How to create avatar videos with Symphony Creative Studio

Symphony avatars enable you to create videos with avatars using templates and a library of global avatars to deliver your video script. There are two types of avatar generation modules:

  1. Voiceover avatar allows you to choose from a library of avatars and templates based on filters such as industry, gender, background, and region.

  2. Product avatar allows you to upload an image of a product or app screen and output video clips of an avatar holding, showcasing, or modeling the product. Note: Clothing accessories, such as shoes, hats, sunglasses bracelets, etc. are not supported.


Before you begin

  • Log in to Symphony Creative Studio with your TikTok for Business account. If you do not have an account, create your TikTok for Business account. Learn more about TikTok for Business accounts.

  • If it's your first time accessing Symphony Creative Studio, you'll need to:

    • Complete your profile.

    • Accept the Creative GenAI Terms.


How to create avatar videos with Symphony Creative Studio

To create avatar videos:

  1. Log in to Symphony Creative Studio on your desktop.

  2. Hover over the left panel to see the avatar modules.

    1. To choose from a library of avatars and templates based on filters such as industry, gender, background, and geography, click Voiceover avatar.

    2. To generate from a product image with animation templates to showcase it, click Product avatar.

  3. For voiceover avatars:

    1. Click on an avatar to select it. You can choose from Real-human or AI-generated.

      1. Use filters to find an avatar based on their appearance, industry, gender, background, or region.

      2. Click Continue.

    2. Type your script or upload an audio file.

    3. Click Generate or click the arrow to select Advanced edit for more editing options.

  4. For product avatars:

    1. Upload your product image or select from creative library.

    2. Click to select your avatar.

    3. Click Add.

    4. Click Generate.

    5. Hover over a generated image and you'll be able to:

      1. Click Animate to set it as the first frame of the video.

      2. Download the video.

      3. Sync to Ads Manager.

    6. Review the generated video clips and click Add voiceover. (optional)

      1. Type or script or upload audio.

    7. Turn on captions to display the script's text on the screen. (optional)

    8. Click Generate or click the arrow to select Advanced edit.

  5. If you choose Advanced edit, you'll be able to:

    1. Assets: Choose assets from your uploads, existing generations, or stock library.

    2. Audio: Choose from trending music, recommended music, playlists, sound effects, favorites, or click Pick music for me. After selection, it adds the audio to the timeline editor.

    3. Voiceover: Edit the script, translate the script into a different language, select a voice, Generate captions, and Add lip sync. When finished, click Generate voiceover.

    4. Captions: Edit, add, or remove all captions.

    5. Avatars: Select an avatar to replace the current avatar in the video.

    6. Text: Choose from default text styles or templates.

    7. Effects: Choose an effect to add to a segment of the video.

    8. Stickers: Choose stickers to add to a specific segment of the video.

  6. Use the timeline editor to adjust the position and style of your assets, audio, captions, text, effects, and stickers on the video.

  7. Once you're finished editing, click Export. Note: An AI-generated label is added to all exported videos. Learn more about TikTok ad policy.

  8. Click Download or Ads Manager.

    1. Note: If you export to TikTok Ads Manager, you'll need to select the account that is linked to your logged-in profile or search for a TikTok Ads Manager account ID.
