How to manage multiple Payment Portfolios

Note: Managing multiple Payment Portfolios is not available to all advertisers at this time. Reach out to your sales representative for more information.


Payment Portfolio is a one stop workspace that allows you to view and manage your options for making payments in a unified manner across TikTok for Business platforms.

Before you begin

  • You must have the Finance Manager role

Access the Payment Portfolio management page

  1. Log in to your Business Center account.

  2. Select Finance.

  3. Select Payment management.

  4. Click on Manage Payment Portfolios to go to a new page where you can manage all the Payment Portfolios that you have access to.

Manage credit line allocation

  1. The credit line bar represents allocated credit line across all Payment Portfolios. Click Allocate to see the total credit line available.

  2. Adjust the percentage of credit line allocated to different Payment Portfolios.

  3. Click Confirm to save.

  4. To edit only a single Payment Portfolio, you can also click the pencil icon next to the credit line amount for that Payment Portfolio. Note: Make sure that any adjustments don't exceed 100% of the total available credit line.

Create a new Payment Portfolio

  1. Click on + Create Payment Portfolio.

  2. Give the Payment Portfolio a name and select the ad accounts to link. Note: Only ad accounts from other advanced Payment Portfolios can be linked.

  3. Click Confirm to save.

Edit an existing Payment Portfolio

  1. Click View details to enter the ad account management page where you can link new ad accounts, update the name of the Payment Portfolio, review user access, and approve new ad accounts.

Link new ad accounts

  1. Click on +Add accounts to link and search for the account name linked.

  2. Once the ad accounts are linked, you may search for them on the same tab using the ad account name or ID.

Review user access to Payment Portfolios

  1. Click on the User tab to see which users with the Finance Manager role have access.

Update Payment Portfolio name

  1. Click on the pencil icon to change the name of the Payment Portfolio.

Approve new ad accounts not included in the Payment Portfolio

  1. For newly created ad accounts within the Business Center, you will see this message: "Ad accounts not yet linked to Payment Portfolios".

  2. Click on Link now.

  3. You can choose to link the ad account to an existing Payment Portfolio or create a new one.
