Previewing your ad allows you to envision what your ad will look like once it's been published. Within Ads Manager, you can create a shareable URL for your ad preview that can be viewed on a desktop computer for 30 days.
Note: Previewing ads via shareable URL is not available for Smart+. We recommend that you learn how to preview ads during ad creation in TikTok Ads Manager or how to preview ads on a mobile device using a QR code.
To create a shareable URL for your ad preview:
Log in to TikTok Ads Manager.
Click Campaigns.
Navigate to the Ad tab on the left.
Find and hover over the ad that you want to preview to show icons.
Click the dropdown arrow next to the icons and click Preview.
Select TikTok as the placement where you want to create the preview.
Select URL as the preview method.
Toggle "on" next to Link sharing.
When you preview an ad, you're able to see what the ad will look like within the app. However, you will not be able to interact with any call-to-action buttons, click through to a landing page or comment. The previews provided are only examples. The display and functionality of the ad may differ depending on your device, format, and other variables. You will not be charged for ad previews.
Note: TikTok ad preview URLs are not password protected. Anyone with the URL will be able to view the ad preview.
