Ensure you have an active Smart+ Sales campaign.
Your campaign must be using a daily budget. The budget scheduling feature is not available for campaigns with a Lifetime Budget.
Identify the specific dates and times you want to schedule budget increases for.
To create a new budget schedule:
Log in to TikTok Ads Manager.
Go to Campaigns.
Select the campaign you wish to edit.
In the Budget section of your campaign settings, find and enable the Schedule budget increase toggle.
Click +Add Schedule to open the scheduling tool.
Set the Start date and End date for your planned budget increase.
Note: You can schedule up to 10 distinct time periods, and the maximum scheduling window is three months in advance.
Choose the Budget increase type and enter a value:
Amount ($): Specify a fixed dollar amount to add to your daily budget during the scheduled period.
Percentage (%): Specify a percentage by which to increase your daily budget.
Click Confirm to save your schedule.
Where to find the setting:
For campaigns using Campaign Budget Optimization (CBO), you will find the Schedule budget increase toggle at the campaign level.
For campaigns not using CBO, you will find the toggle at the ad group level.
You can modify or remove your budget schedules at any time.
To edit an existing schedule:
Return to the Schedule budget increase section in your campaign or ad group settings.
Find the schedule you want to change in the list and click the edit (pencil) icon.
Adjust the time period or budget increase value.
Click Confirm to save your changes.
Note:
You can only edit schedules that are set for a future date. Past or active schedules cannot be edited.
The updated budget must exceed the amount already spent (e.g., above 50 if 50 has been spent)
To disable all budget schedules:
Navigate to the Schedule budget increase section.
Turn off the main Schedule budget increase toggle. This will deactivate all planned budget increases for that campaign or ad group.
Note: If today's spend has already exceeded the base budget, you may not be able to turn off the toggle or delete an active schedule.
After you confirm your settings, your campaign budget will automatically increase during the periods you have specified. Remember to monitor your campaign's performance after a scheduled increase takes effect.
