Before Getting Started:The Countdown Sticker feature supports Reach, Video Views, Traffic, Conversions, and App Installs advertising objectives under Auction Buying Type; and Reach, Traffic and Video Views objectives under Reach & Frequency Buying Type.
The Countdown Sticker Interactive Add-on allows you to add a timer to your video ad to catch your audience's attention and create a feeling of urgency.
A Countdown Sticker will appear in the ads for the entire time, and can't be closed before the ad is finished playing. Once the Countdown Sticker appears within the ad, it'll display the amount of time left in DAYS-HOURS-MINUTES (if the remaining time is more than 72 hours) or HOURS-MINUTES-SECONDS (if the remaining time is less than 72 hours).
When the viewers click on the Countdown Sticker, they will be redirected to the landing page you provided. You can adjust the size and position of your Sticker on TikTok Ads Manager.
Go to TikTok Ads manager and create a new campaign.
Select your Buying type and Advertising objective.
Set up your Ad Group, and continue to Ad Creation.
Enable the Identity toggle to create a Spark Ad, or turn it off to create a Non-Spark Ad (regular In-Feed ad).
Select Single Video as the Ad Format.
Add your video, ad text, link, and CTA to complete your ad creative.
Under Interactive Add-ons, click Create.
From the Interactive Add-on pop-up, select Sticker > Countdown Sticker; then click Confirm.
From the Countdown Sticker Editor:
Input your Sticker title.
Enter Countdown deadline; select Time Zone, date, and time.
Select Sticker Color, Display angle, Placement, and Size.
Your Interactive add-on URL will be the same as your ad's destination URL).
Click Confirm to create your Voting Sticker.
Click Submit from the Ad Creation page, when you are ready to publish your ad.
