About attribution windows at the ad group level

Last updated: July 2026

Attribution windows are the amount of time between someone who interacted with your ad and then took a desired action. Attribution settings at the ad group level allow you to tailor your campaign strategies to optimize performance based on specific ad group characteristics and attribution analytics.

Benefits and features

  • Customization: Select different attribution windows for each ad group, allowing for customized strategies that align with specific business goals.

  • Specificity: With the ability to specify attribution windows, you can assess the impact of specific ads over a specific period of time, leading to better-informed decisions and optimized budget allocation.

  • Testing and optimization: Test different attribution settings within ad groups to determine the most effective windows for conversion tracking.
