Bulk creative exclusion filters allow you to exclude up to 200 videos from the paid traffic of a Product GMV Max campaign that uses autoselect video mode. These videos may still be distributed in organic traffic, meaning TikTok users can still see them. To completely remove these videos, you need to delete them from the TikTok handle or remove the account from your affiliate collaboration.
Exclusion scope: All existing and future videos will be excluded from the campaign.
Applicable posts: Exclusion filters apply only to authorized posts and affiliate posts. They do not affect customized posts.
Creative boost: Exclusion filters will turn off any Creative Boost that was previously using the excluded videos.
Performance impact: Applying bulk creative exclusion filters may result in worse campaign performance. This is because the automated optimization logic of Product GMV Max leverages all available creatives to maximize GMV in real time. Reducing the number of creatives can limit the system's ability to optimize results.
Steps to apply bulk creative exclusion filters:
Create or edit Product GMV Max campaign
Go to Manage creatives
Turn on Exclude some videos
Apply bulk exclusion filters on the right. You can apply a combination of the following, meaning that if you filter for summer caption and Adam affiliate, videos captioned summer from affiliate Benjamin will also be excluded:
Keywords in video captions
Posting dates of videos
Affiliate handles
You'll see which exclusion filters have been applied
You will still see these videos in video level reporting under the status Excluded
After the campaign is published, you can continue to go to Edit campaign and add or remove bulk exclusion filters. If you remove bulk exclusion filters, any Creative Boost that was previously turned off will not automatically restart. And there is no guarantee that the previously excluded videos will be delivered again
