When you create an ad with the TikTok Ads, you can choose which app you want your ad to appear, we currently have News Feed App Series "TopBuzz/BuzzVideo/NewsRepublic", "TikTok", "Vigo" for your choice. We call the different places in which you choose to show your ads as "Placement". Depends on the placements you choose, your ads may appear in four places, "In-feed Ad", "Detail Page", "Post-roll Ad", or "Story Ad". Please see TikTok Ads Placement for more details. What does TikTok ads look like? Depending on your advertising objectives and ad placements, your ads may look different. TikTok Ads currently supports 2 major ad formats – image and video, across all placements. * Notes: "TikTok" currently only supports video ads; Images and videos are both supported on News Feed App Series "TopBuzz/BuzzVideo/NewsRepublic" and "Vigo". Please see TikTok Ads Format for more details. How much does TikTok ads cost? Budget: On TikTok Ads, you are able to set two types of budget caps, daily or all time. Based on your ad schedule, we will control your budget and ad delivery. Your budget can be changed at anytime throughout your campaign and our system will not spend more than the budget you set. There is a minimum of $500 budget at the campaign level and $50 at the ad group level, to ensure that your ad has a significant budget to spend. Bid : A bid is how much you are willing to pay for the overall campaign goal and your optimization goal, the actions that you want people to take after they see your ads. Advertising Policy To ensure that all content is running in a brand safe environment, for both the advertisers & partners, TikTok has a dedicated Ad Review Team to ensure that ads comply with ad policies and applicable laws and regulations in each country/region. What you need to create a TikTok Ads Account ( The following guide is only applicable for self-service customers in India now. For non-Indian customers, please contact your account manager first .) You can create a TikTok Ads account with an email address easily. Click here to start your registration. Step 1 : Fill your email and set the password. Step 2: Verify your email address. Basic Information Once selected the Time Z one , Currency and Country/ Region , they can't be changed any more. Country/ Region : only India is available now. Currency : only Indian Rupee is available now. Time Zone ：the account will display the data according to your time zone setting. Business Information Provide basic details about your business in the Business information section. Please note：as the invoice will base on your business information, please legal information related to your business. Promotion L ink: fill your business website or App Store or URL and if you have multiple links, please separate them with the line break. Industries : select your business industry. Business Name : The name of your business or store. Street Address : The location of your headquarters or where your business is registered. Proof of B usiness : Business license,Certificate of formation or incorporation,Business Tax or VAT registration certificate. Tax Information Primary Contact Primary Contact is the person TikTok Ads will contact in email with receipts, invoices, and further payments-related issues. TikTok Ads Structure
A TikTok Ads is made up of three levels: Campaign, Ad Group, Ad . Below we will go through how these three levels will work together to create an overall positive advertising campaign! Understanding how these three levels work will help you better set up target audience, allocate your ad budget, and design creatives to increase your audience’s reach, improve your ad performance and ultimately achieve your campaign goals. Campaign Campaign : Once you have decided to move forward with TikTok Ads , you always need to create a "campaign" and determine your campaign goals ( i.e., the final results you want your ads to achieve). At the campaign level, you can choose between two campaign goals: App Download or Landing Page. You will also be asked to determine your campaign budget, which can be set as a daily budget, all-time budget or no limit. Within each campaign, you will have multiple ad groups, which will enable you to optimize your ads and measure performance. Ad Group A d group : The " A d group " level defines when and where your ads will appear, and who will see your ads . You can set specific ad placements, audiences, target audiences, campaign budgets, schedule, optimization goals, and bids for each ad group at the ad group level. Having all of these broken out by Ad Group enables the advertiser to control the budgets of different audience groups, delivery schedule of each ad, and assess the performance of each audience. Within a campaign, there can be a single or multiple ad groups; within an ad group, there can be a single or multiple ads. Ad Ad : The "Ad" is the content that you ultimately present to the target audience and what they will see on their mobile app. T he ads can be in the form of images or videos. You are able to upload your creative and texts at the ad level . You are also able to create a video using our video creation tools. Ads are included within an ad group and an ad group can contain multiple ads, which enable you to compare and optimize the delivery of your ads based on differences between creatives.
