About Clear Cookies and Cache in TikTok’s In-App Browser
When the TikTok community visits a website through a link in the TikTok app, they may use our in-app browser. Like other web browsers, the in-app browser uses cookies, which are small files that websites store on the device to remember preferences and login information. Users have the ability to clear cookies and cache for the in-app browser. Clearing cookies and cache can improve page load and functionality, resolve site errors, reset sessions, and remove third-party stored data. Users will be signed out of most websites and their saved preferences will be reset.

This feature is available to all TikTok users globally.
How to clear cookies and cache in TikTok’s in-app browser
In-app browser cookies and cache can be cleared from two different locations within the TikTok app.
To clear cookies and cache from the in-app browser:
Tap on any link within TikTok to open the in-app browser.
Tap the three-dot icon or share icon at the bottom of the screen to open the browser menu.
Select Clear cookies and cache.
A confirmation message will appear. Tap Clear to proceed.
To clear cookies and cache from settings and privacy:
Go to Profile and tap the three-line icon in the top-right corner.
Select Settings and privacy.
Depending on the app version, people on TikTok may find the option in one of two places:
Go to Activity and select Clear cookies and cache.
Go to Security and select Clear cookies and cache.
A confirmation message will appear. Tap Clear to proceed.
