About payments on TikTok One for advertisers

TikTok One provides content collaboration services with streamlined expense and invoice tracking for all your projects within the TikTok One platform. You'll be able to manually manage purchase orders, invoices, and easily access your order and payment history with TikTok One.


Before you begin

  • Add a payment method.

  • Submit your business and tax information.

  • After approval, create your first project with Online Payment selected as your payment option.

    • Payments can also be handled offline using your normal business practices by selecting Offline Payment as your payment manager when creating a project and the creator or partner agrees.


Supported payment methods

TikTok One currently supports payments for all content types through bank transfers, debit card, and credit card payments. Eligible advertisers may also use our invoicing solution for an order via our supported payment methods. Please speak to your TikTok sales representative to learn more about post-pay.

Note: Bank transfers are currently only available for US advertisers at the order level.


Cross-border and currency

TikTok One enables you to collaborate with creators across the world. For regions where cross-border payments are supported, TikTok One automatically completes currency conversion. Cross-border payments on TikTok One are available to clients in select regions, expanding over time. If you are in a non-supported region, you will see a message display during payment input for a project indicating that online cross-border payment is not available. Please reach out to your TikTok sales representative to learn more about availability.


Payment process

TikTok does not charge any service fees for advertisers and creators to use TikTok One's payment service but individual payment service provider fees may apply. You will be charged after you confirm your project details. For cases where the original price you offered is negotiable and TikTok proposes a new price, you’ll only be charged once you accept and confirm the new price and payment. Payments are facilitated by our trusted third-party payment service provider.


Taxes

If applicable, sales tax or other tax policies will be automatically calculated and included in the total charge. This information can be found on the payment confirmation page.


Invoices

TikTok One generates and tracks your invoices for every order. Invoices are generated when projects are completed and after the status changes from pending to purchase. To download invoices, go to Account Settings and click Payment.

Invoices only shows the details for creators with the current region. Learn how to access creator information on TikTok One.
