About payments on TikTok One

Last updated: March 2025

TikTok One provides payment management with streamlined expense and invoice tracking for your campaigns all within the TikTok One platform. You'll be able to manually manage purchase orders, invoices, and easily access your order and payment history with TikTok One.

Before you begin

  • Add a payment method.

  • Submit your business and tax information.

  • After approval, create your first campaign with Online Payment selected as your payment manager.

  • TikTok One provides a standard contract template that you can use for your branded content collaborations with creators and partners. Please read the contract carefully before sending out campaign details.

Supported payment methods

TikTok One currently supports payments for all content types through bank transfers, debit, and credit card payments.

Note: Bank transfers are currently only available for US advertisers at the order level.

Cross-border and currency

For advertisers based in China, cross-border payments are now available when working with US creators. For all other regions, cross-border payments are not supported at this time. You can only pay creators who are registered in the same region as your business on TikTok One.

Payment process

Payments to creators will be made in the currency of the country where the creator's account is registered. TikTok does not charge any service fees for brands and creators to use TikTok One’s payment service but individual payment service provider fees may apply.

You will be charged after you confirm your campaign details. For cases where the original price you offered is negotiable and a creator proposes a new price, you’ll only be charged once you accept and confirm the new price and payment.

Payments are facilitated by our trusted third-party payment service provider and will be sent to the creator once the campaign is completed.

  • For videos posted on the creator's account: After you approve the video and confirm the completion of your campaign, the payment will be automatically transferred to the creator's TikTok One account.

  • For videos delivered as an ad not posted on creator's profile: After you approve the video and sync the TikTok Ads Manager to Spark, the payment will then automatically be transferred to the creator's TikTok One account.

Note: Video submissions for both scenarios will be automatically marked complete 14 days after the video is posted or delivered.

Payments can be handled offline using your normal business practices by selecting Offline Payment as your payment manager when creating a campaign and the creator or partner agrees.

Taxes

TikTok One collects creators’ tax information. Creators' and partners' tax information must be completed before making any platform-based payments.

If applicable, sales tax or other tax policies will be automatically calculated and included in the total charge. This information can be found on the payment confirmation page.

Invoices

TikTok One generates and tracks your invoices for every order. Invoices are generated when campaigns are completed and after the status changes from pending to purchase. To download invoices, go to Account Settings and click Payment.

Cancellation

Self-serve cancellation is not available at this time and must be manually requested. For advertisers participating in our TikTok One Alpha testing, you can request cancellation from our support team after both parties have agreed to the cancellation. If you use TikTok One’s online contract, your cancellation is subject to our Cancellation Policy.
