Brazil: About Tax ID verification
Please verify your tax identification Cadastro De Pessoa/Cadastro Nacional de Pessoas Jurídicas (CPF/CNPJ) provided in your registration data on TikTok Ads Manager and/or Business Center platforms.
To ensure the validity of the tax identification provided to us, the registration data for CNPJ must match the information presented in the Brazilian Federal Revenue Service's database.
If you provide a CNPJ, the validation of the business name provided in your Certificate of Registration and Situational Status is required.
If your business name is correctly validated, the process is completed, and it will no longer be possible to change the provided CNPJ or switch to CPF.
If your business name is not correctly validated, you will be granted a period of 30 consecutive days to correct the information and resubmit it for validation or switch to CPF:
If you are validated within the 30-day period, changing your tax identification will no longer be possible.
If you switch your registration to CPF, it will no longer be possible to change it back to CNPJ.
If you are not validated within the 30-day consecutive period or switch your registration to CPF, your TikTok Ads Manager account will be suspended.
If you use a CPF:
It will still be possible to change your CPF to update the registration data.
Your registration data with CPF will be accepted, and it will no longer be possible to change it to CNPJ.
It will still be possible to change your name in the registration data.
