To ensure a positive user experience on TikTok, it is important to implement consistency across ad messaging. TikTok reviews each ad to ensure there are no inconsistencies between the ad's creative, landing page, and display or app name.

How to review ad messaging

To ensure your ad messaging is consistent with our policies:

  • The product or service featured in your ad is consistent with the products and services displayed on your Landing Page. For example, your ad's creative cannot feature skateboards and lead to a Landing Page promoting motorcycles.

  • The product or service featured in your ad's video or images must be consistent with the ad text.

  • The Display Name or App Name must be consistent with branding on the Landing Page. For example, if you enter your Display Name as "CityMotorcycles", the Landing Page must reflect the "CityMotorcycles" brand.
