About Data Security Verification
Data security verification is an extra layer of security to make sure you're the only person who can access your advertising data. When you turn on Data Security Verification, you'll need to verify your identity with a verification code in order to access your advertising data.
Data Security Verification is required if you want to download ad and audience data in the Analytics tab in TikTok Ads Manager.
How to turn on data security verification
To turn on Data Security Verification:
Go to Data Security. Make sure you're signed in to your TikTok for Business account.
Click Add phone number or Add email. We recommend adding both email and phone number.
Provide your contact method and click Send Code. We'll send a verification code to the contact method you provided.
Enter your verification code and click Confirm.
You'll be able to use your contact method to verify your identity when you download a report. You can change your contact method at any time. To change your contact method, you'll need to verify your current contact method first.
About Data Security Verification
The contact method you use for Data Security Verification does not have to match the contact method you used to sign up for your TikTok for Business account.
When you verify your identity, your verification will be active for 10 days. After 10 days, you'll be asked to provide another verification code when you want to access your advertising data.
