About disconnecting an E-Commerce Platform partner integration

Note: If you uninstall the TikTok App from your database first, you may encounter issues with disconnecting TikTok App.


You can disconnect an E-Commerce Platform partner integration if you no longer need the integration or are guided to unistall the TikTok app for troubleshooting. Remove TikTok from the integration management page on your E-Commerce Platform. From the integration management page, click the Disconnect button.


By disconnecting the TikTok App, you will:

  • Uninstall the TikTok App.

  • For merchants, remove the Store from your Store Manager.


After you disconnect the TikTok App from your E-Commerce Platform:

  • TikTok for Business Accounts created during onboarding will remain active.

  • New Business Centers, Ad Accounts, Pixels, and Catalogs will still exist in TikTok for Business.

  • Pixels will not send any data if they are removed from your website.


For merchants that want to re-install the TikTok App, your commerce platform will return to its pre-setup state.


For merchants that re-install the TikTok App, and want to use a previously created pixel, you will need to:

  1. Login to your TikTok for Business Account.

  2. Disconnect the existing pixel.

  3. Return to the integration onboarding process.
