How to troubleshoot time lag for Automated Rules

Last updated: February 2025

The shortest operation interval of a specific rule is 30 minutes but the threshold might be exceeded 30 minutes. For example, you may set a rule If CPA(Last 3 days)>20 USD, then turn off at 15:00. The CPA might exceed 20 at 15:10, but the machine will only check at 15:30, 16:00, and 16:30 making the actual CPA to be 30 or more. This is called a time lag problem for Automated Rules. How to troubleshoot lag for Automated Rules

To troubleshoot time lag for automated rules, lower your threshold below your expected threshold. For example, if you want to turn off when CPA>20, you can set the rule as If CPA(Last 3 days)>10USD, then turn off. This change will leave space for time lag.
