How to add your Value Added Tax number

Taxes may be applicable to your purchase of TikTok Ads depending on the market or region of your billing address, unless otherwise agreed. You can add your Value Added Tax (VAT) number from TikTok Ads Manager or the Business Center when completing your tax information.

Note: TikTok is unable to advise you on tax matters. Please contact your local tax advisor or tax authorities for any tax questions that you may have in relation to your ads purchase.

Before you begin

• Learn more about tax deductions from your account balance.

• Follow the Business Center steps if your ad account is managed by Business Center. Follow the TikTok Ads Manager steps if your ad account is not managed by a Business Center.

• Only users with an admin role can make changes to billing information. Learn about asset level permissions.

How to add your VAT number

From TikTok Ads Manager:

1. Go to the Tools tab.

2. Click Account setup.

3. Click Basic information on the menu on the left under My account.

4. Click Edit.

5. Enter or update your VAT Number under Billing info.

6. Click Confirm.

From the Business Center:

1. Click the Business settings tab.

2. Click Verification.

3. Under Billing information, click Edit to update your Tax ID.

4. Click Save.
