How to cancel the Organization Account update in the TikTok app

At any point within the 15-day trial period for the Organization Account update, you can cancel the update of a TikTok Personal Account or Business Account to an Organization Account within the TikTok app.

Before you begin

• Ensure that your Personal or Business Account is in the trial period for Organization Account update.

• Ensure that you have admin access to the account.

How to cancel the Organization Account update in the TikTok app

To cancel the Organization Account update in the TikTok app:

1. Open your TikTok app, tap Log in.

2. Tap Use phone / email / username, then tap Email / Username.

3. Enter the username and verification code to log in.

4. Start the cancelation process from either the profile homepage or the inbox notification.

   • From the profile homepage: Tap Profile to go to your profile homepage, then tap the Trial profile label under your username.

   • From the inbox notification: Tap Inbox at the bottom, then tap the notification about your trial period.

5. Tap Cancel update.

6. Tap Cancel update to confirm.

7. Verify your identity to complete the cancelation process.

Note: Once the Organization Account update is canceled, you will be automatically logged out and required to log back in using your past login methods instead of the username and verification code generated from relevant business platforms.
