How to create a template video
After adding your products to your catalog, you can quickly generate videos featuring your products directly from Catalog Manager.
Before you begin
You'll need to set up your catalog
You'll need at least 20 products that are approved and active.
Each Catalog can only have a maximum of 20 video packages at a time. You do not need to generate videos for products if your Catalog contains links to Product Videos.
How to create a template video
To create a template video:
Log in to TikTok Ads Manager.
Click Assets.
Select Catalog.
Click Product Catalog.
Select your catalog.
In the left-hand menu, go to Manage and click Videos.
Click +Add.
Click Video templates.
Click Start Now.
Choose the video style. You can choose from the following:
Dynamic templates: Automatically generate video effects, music and stickers using information from your product details. Hover over each video to watch a preview. Click Create on individual videos, or click Create now in the bottom left to generate a package of videos.
TikTok templates: Choose from a library of more than 50 TikTok templates. Click Create to choose a template to customize, then click Create in the bottom left to generate your video.
Note: Custom and external templates are no longer supported.
Your videos will appear in the Video templates tab in TikTok Catalog Manager.
