How to troubleshoot business verification in TikTok One

Last updated: October 2025

If you encounter issues verifying your business in TikTok One, use the following solutions to resolve these problems.

How to troubleshoot business verification

  • Registered account name. TikTok requires the account name to match the submitted legal documents exactly without abbreviations.

  • Registered country and region. The registered business address on your account must match the location of the uploaded documents. Any linked accounts, including Business Center or TikTok Ads Manager, cannot have different countries or regions from your TikTok One account.

  • Unable to upload business verification documents. Due to browser limitations, you may experience difficulty submitting documents if your PDF file has a large number of pages. You'll need to upload the file in an image format directly or only upload important pages of your PDF. Learn more about the acceptable documents for business verification.

  • Linking a TikTok Ads Manager account. Ensure you're linking your TikTok One account to the original Business Center or TikTok Ads Manager account that owns the verification documents. If you're unsure about the location of your business verification documents, you can go through the verification process directly in TikTok One to upload documents. • Linking a Business Center account. Your Business Center account may show as Approved within Business Center, however this account status is not the business verification status. You'll still need to submit your business verification documents through the Business Center or TikTok One directly. Learn how to connect TikTok One with Business Center.
