How to Use Auto-Fix for Imported Ads

TikTok Ads Manager automatically revises certain fields in your import file when it detects an error using Auto-Fix.

Before you begin

Ensure Auto-fix is turned on in the Import Ads module to automatically fix the error in your spreadsheet. Only certain fields are supported by Auto-Fix:

Start Time

The start time cannot be earlier than the current time. The system will automatically change it to the current time.

Billing Method

The billing method will automatically revise to oCPM. oCPC is no longer a choice for billing.

Optimization Preference at Learning Phase

You should use conversion if your billing event is oCPC/M.

Bid

You do not need to set the bid for the learning phase of oCPC ads. This field should be left blank. We will leave it blank automatically.

Ad Group or Campaign ID

A prefix will automatically be added if there is no prefix.

Note: If an error is found in your import file field that is not supported by Auto-Fix, you will need to adjust the file manually.

How to Use Auto-Fix for Imported Ads

To use Auto-Fix:

  1. Import a file using Bulk Import.

  2. If the system identifies errors that are supported by Auto-Fix, turn on Auto-Fix and click Next to continue uploading your file.

  3. Manually address the errors in your import file that are not supported by Autofix.

  4. Import your revised file by clicking Re-Upload.
