This TikTok One Creator Program Privacy Policy (“TikTok Creator Program Privacy Policy”) sets out the way in which we collect, use, share, and otherwise process any personal information we collect from you, or that you provide to us, when you participate in any creator monetization program that links to or references this TikTok Creator Program Privacy Policy (“TikTok Creator Program”), such as TikTok One, Branded Mission, and Branded Buzz. This TikTok Creator Program Privacy Policy incorporates and supplements the TikTok Privacy Policy. This means that, for example, personal information we collect via your participation in a TikTok Creator Program as a creator, may also be used, disclosed, retained, or otherwise processed as described in the TikTok Privacy Policy and, to the extent applicable, information collected under the TikTok Privacy Policy and via our Platform in connection with your participation in the TikTok Creator Program can be processed as described in this TikTok Creator Program Privacy Policy. In the event of any conflict, this TikTok Creator Program Privacy Policy shall take precedence. Capitalized terms used but not set out or defined in this TikTok Creator Program Privacy Policy shall have the meanings given in the TikTok Privacy Policy and the terms of service associated with the relevant TikTok Creator Program (“TikTok Creator Program Terms”).
Users who create and post videos and other content on TikTok and participate in Creator Programs in accordance with the TikTok Creator Program Terms are "Creators”. The Creator Programs allow a Creator to provide content and services or otherwise participate in such programs, and, in exchange, be eligible to receive promotional benefits, payments, rewards, creative and technical resources, partnership opportunities, or other benefits. The Creator Programs are designed to enhance the Creator’s brand and user following, and may provide the Creator with monetization opportunities, through or in connection with identified portions of websites, products, features, apps, services, technologies, software, and properties created and/or operated by TikTok (including its affiliated companies) and TikTok USDS Joint Venture LLC. The Creator Programs may be added to and expanded from time to time.
What Information We Collect
The information described in the “What Information We Collect” section of the TikTok Privacy Policy may be collected through your participation in our Creator Programs in addition to our Platform.
We collect information that you upload or otherwise provide us (whether by use of the Creator Programs, such as when creating a profile therein, or the Platform), including:
Your gender;
Your content labels and brand preferences (including industry and language preferences);
Your billing and shipping addresses;
Your other social media handles;
Your brand preferences (including industry and language preferences);
Content within your TikTok profile/bio (e.g., avatar, nickname, email address, website, handles)
A copy of your national/government issued IDs (e.g., passport, driver’s license);
Your bank account information; and
Tax-related information, including legal name, date of birth, primary address and country of residence, your tax identification number or local equivalent, etc.
Further, we collect additional information about you that is generated or otherwise derived in connection with your use of any Creator Programs or the Platform, including:
Advertising brands (“Brands”) that you have interacted with in connection with the Creator Programs;
Talent managers that you have interacted with and actions taken by talent managers on your behalf;
Relationship between you and your followers (e.g., follow time, aggregated demographics information about your followers, and follower growth rate);
Campaigns that you have participated in via Creator Programs;
Information regarding your Creator Program campaigns or videos that you’ve created (either as branded content or otherwise on the Platform), such as number of views, likes, and shares, clicks and views of the participating Brand’s website and app pages, viewer demographic information, engagement rates (meaning the number of people that have engaged with your content) and benchmarks comparing such information;
Information about your engagement in connection with the Creator Programs, including the number of invitations received, orders accepted, log-ins, metrics related to your activity and the videos you create (such as your response rate during campaigns, submission rate of videos you submit for campaigns, and rate that your videos are approved by the Brand), video turnaround times, and revenue earned from campaigns (“Engagement Metrics”);
Information about the type of content you make and your audience (e.g., content category, industry label, language, similarity to other creators, your city/state, relevancy scores, aggregated follower demographics, engagement rates, engagement/views across videos, most popular videos, and information relating to content quality, content style and commercial value (generated based on self-declared information, metrics related to your activity and the videos you create, and automated means) (“Content Metrics”);
Your ‘Creator Score’ which is generated based on your response rate;
Your ‘Collaboration Score’ which is generated based on Engagement Metrics and Content Metrics relating to videos you’ve recently posted;
Your ranking on a leaderboard of creators, generated based on information including your experience working with Brands, your follower growth rate, and the quality of your videos;
Your ‘Matching Score’ to indicate your appropriateness for a particular campaign, generated based on Engagement Metrics; and
Your reviews of Creator Program features, such as your review of TikTok One, which include your handle, review date, and review content. We may also produce your review in marketing material with your consent.

To the extent that the applicable data protection laws in your jurisdiction(s) require your consent for processing your personal information, you hereby give your prior, express and informed consent and authorize us to process your personal information in the ways described herein by accepting this policy, and to store it in our databases.
By joining a Creator Program, you understand and acknowledge that the information described in this TikTok Creator Program Privacy Policy in connection with your content (e.g., interactions, popularity, type of content, growth rate), campaigns (e.g., turnaround times, video approval rate, responsiveness), and general demographics (e.g., rate card, city/country location, profile information) will be made available publicly and may not be limited to any particular audience.
For example, in addition to the sharing of information as described in the “How We Share Your Information” section of the TikTok Privacy Policy, certain information will be made available to:
Brands, creative agencies and partners who participate in Creator Programs or that we think might be interested in you so that: (i) they can decide whether to contact you and work with you in the future; and (ii) they can assess their campaign performance. Your information will also be made available to the Brands’ developers and similar service providers who access the Creator Programs, including via an API provided by us.
Talent managers to facilitate your authorization of, and interactions with, them.
Payment service providers to facilitate payments to you if you are due any payments for any Creator Programs.

We may amend or update this TikTok Creator Program Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes to this policy by a notice provided through the Service or by other means. The “Last Updated” date at the top of this policy reflects the effective date of such policy changes.

Contractual Necessity
If you participate in any of the Creator Programs, we will process your information where it is necessary to perform the contract you enter into (the Creator Program Terms) when you register for, access, or use the Creator Programs. Information used: The information set out in the “Information we collect” section above; Information You Provide and Automatically Collected Information set out in the TikTok Privacy Policy.
We use the information we collect to facilitate your discovery by Brands, creative agencies and partners. We do this so that Brands, creative agencies and partners using the Creator Programs can contact you and discuss whether to work with you on exciting new projects or to use your content under a Creator Program allowing you to collaborate with them, and so they can assess their campaign performance.
We also do this to facilitate your collaborations with talent managers and creative agencies and Partners to provide their services to you once you link with them.
Legitimate Interests
We use your information where this is necessary to achieve legitimate interests - whether belonging to us, you, or a third party - provided these interests are not outweighed by your interests or fundamental rights and freedoms.
We use your information to generate a ‘Creator Score’ for you. Legitimate Interest relied upon: To enable you and us to understand your response rate for campaigns and let you know if you are typically hitting or missing campaign deadlines. Information used: The information set out in the “Information we collect” section above.
We use your information to generate a ‘Collaboration Score’ for you. Legitimate Interest relied upon: To enable us and Brands, creative agencies and partners to understand your performance in relation to campaigns and assess future collaboration opportunities. Information used: The information set out in the “Information we collect” section above.
We use the information to provide creator leaderboards to Brands, creative agencies and partners. Legitimate Interest relied upon: To facilitate your discovery by Brands, creative agencies and partners so that you may work with them, and to enable us to market the Creator Programs. Information used: The information set out in the “Information we collect” section above.
