Connect a TikTok account to your store.
To get started make sure you have created a TikTok For Business account and set up a TikTok Business Center.
You will first need to set up a catalog on TikTok Business Center. To do this, you can either:
Create a new catalog on TikTok Business Center.
Migrate a catalog from TikTok Ads Manager to TikTok Business Center.
Create a catalog on TikTok Business Center using the Marketing API.
Log in to your Business Center.
Go to Assets > Catalogs.
Click Add Catalog.
Enter the basic information about your Catalog and click Create.
If you have already created a catalog on TikTok Ads Manager, you will need to migrate it to TikTok Business Center. To do this:
Log in to your TikTok Ads Manager account.
Go to Assets > Catalogs.
Select Settings.
Find the notification at the top of the screen that says, "This catalog hasn't been transferred to a Business Center account yet. Please transfer it as soon as possible.", and click Transfer Now.
To create a Business Center Catalog via the Marketing API, use the following endpoint and specify bc_id, currency, country, and ECOM as catalog_type.
After creating a Catalog on TikTok Business Center, you must add your products to the catalog. For your catalog to be compatible with 3P, you must include the item_group_id field for each product in your catalog.
Log in to your Business Center.
Go to Assets > Catalogs.
Select the name of the Catalog.
Click the shopping cart icon to open Catalog Manager.
From there, click Add Products and select Data Feed Schedule or Upload File.
Ensure you include the item_group_id for each product you add.
If you have already added your products to your catalog but did not include the item_group_id field, you will need to re-upload your products. Click here for more information on how to add products to your catalog.
Once you create a Business Center Catalog, you can sync products to that catalog through CSV file_url. We support up to 20 million products in the file. Click here for more details.
You can also leverage the /catalog/product/update/ for smaller volume product updates if preferred.
Note: When adding products with the Marketing API, if item_group_id is not included, the system will automatically use your SKU_ID as your item_group_id.
After setting up your Business Center Catalog, you will need to create a store and bind your catalog to your store. Currently, this step requires support from your account manager. To do this:
Log in to your Business Center.
Go to Assets > Catalogs.
Select the Catalog you want to use to create your store.
Click the shopping cart icon to open Catalog Manager.
Copy the complete URL of the page on Catalog Manager and share it with your account manager.
Your account manager will use this information to create your store and bind your catalog to your store.
Once we make your store, it will appear on your Business Center under Assets > Store.
Select your store, and click the store icon - this will open TikTok Store Manager, which you will use to manage your store.
Alternatively, you can access TikTok Store Manager after you log in to your TikTok For Business Account.
Next, you will need to link your TikTok account to your storefront. This will allow you to sync your products to your TikTok account and enable TikTok Storefront's features on the TikTok app.
Sign in to the TikTok account you want to bind with your storefront at https://www.tiktok.com/
Keep that window open and in the same browser, log in to TikTok Store Manager.
Select the store you want to set, go to Settings, and click Link to TikTok Account.
Then click Authorize.
Once you have completed all these steps, you will successfully set up TikTok Shopping.
Start managing your shop with TikTok Store Manager and then create TikTok posts with product links.
