How to manage user settings on TikTok for Business

Go to the User Settings page to manage information associated with your TikTok for Business Account. You can edit the following information from the User Settings page:

  • Email address

  • Phone number

  • Password


How to add or edit your email address

To add or edit your email address:

  1. Go to your User Settings page.

  2. Under Profile, click Add Email or Change Email.

Note: Changing your email will require you to verify your current email with a verification code.

  1. Enter your email to add a new email.

  2. Click Send Code for verification.

  3. Enter the code and click Submit.

This will allow you to add an email address to your account. Continue to verify your current email to change it.

  1. Verify your current email by clicking Send Code for a verification code.

  2. Enter the code and click Next. Enter the new email address.

Note: This will change the email address you use to sign in to TikTok for Business.

  1. Click Send Code for a verification code.

  2. Enter the code and click Submit.

How to add or edit your phone number

To add or edit your phone number:

  1. Go to your User Settings page.

  2. Under Profile, click Add Phone Number or Change Phone Number.

Note: Changing your phone number will require you to verify your current phone number with a verification code.

  1. Enter your phone number and country code to add a new phone number.

  2. Click Send Code for a verification code.

  3. Enter the code and click Submit.

This will allow you to add a phone number to your account. Continue to verify your current phone number to change it.

  1. Verify your current phone number by clicking Send Code for a verification code.

  2. Enter the code and click Next. Enter the new phone number and country code.

Note: This will change the phone number you use to sign in to TikTok for Business.

  1. Click Send Code for a verification code.

  2. Enter the code and click Submit.

How to change your password

To change your password:

  1. Go to your User Settings page.

  2. Under Password, click Change.

  3. Select either Email or Phone.

Note: If you no longer have access to your email or phone number that is linked to the account, please contact the client service team (CST) or account manager (AM) in your region, for assistance.

  1. Click Send Code for a verification code.

  2. Enter the code and click Next.

  3. Create a new password and confirm it.

  4. Click Submit.
