Split Testing Variables

By using the Split Testing tool, you can test which variables of your campaign produce the best results. You will select which variable you want to test at the Split Test creation level.


The following variables can be evaluated using Split Testing:

  • ​Targeting

    • Examples: Broad vs. narrow targeting, custom audience vs. ad targeting, demographic, interests and behaviors, device, location.

  • ​Creative

    • Examples: Ad formats, videos, Call-to-Action copy, description copy.

  • ​Bidding & Optimization

    • Examples: bidding strategies, optimization goals, bidding dollar amount.

Note: Currently, you can only select one variable for each Split Test you create. We don't support multi-variable testing.
