About the Brand Check process

Last updated: October 2025

According to TikTok Advertising policy, we do not allow ad content and landing pages to display or promote counterfeit products. For more information, read our Intellectual Property Infringement Policy.

When the content of your advertisement includes third-party brand names, trademarks, or logos, you may be required to go through the Brand Check process. You will be notified through an inbox notification in TikTok Ads Manager or an email.

Brand Check allows you to verify yourself as a brand owner or authorized promoter, or confirm in any other way that you are entitled to promote brand authentic product(s) on TikTok Ads by submitting supporting documents and explanations.

TikTok Ads will pause your advertisement until you complete the Brand Check process. Failure to submit required documents before the deadline will cause your ad account to be suspended.
