About Bulk Import & Export for Smart+ Campaigns

Bulk Import & Export now supports Smart+ Campaigns. Instead of manually entering details in TikTok Ads Manager, you can set up and manage your ads using a CSV or Excel file. This feature is accessible from the left-hand menu in TikTok Ads Manager under the Bulk Import/Export entry point.


Features

Bulk Import & Export offers fields across Campaign, Ad Group, and Ad levels. The following are additional features for Bulk Import & Export with Smart+ Campaigns:


At the Campaign level

  • Campaign type: Expanded options for App Promotion, Sales, and Lead Generation.

  • Sales destination: New sales channel options - Website, App, Website + App.

  • Use Catalog: Simplified On/Off toggle with updated description.

  • Campaign Budget Type: Enforced rules when CBO is turned on, including uniformity across ad groups.

  • Campaign Budget Amount: Required if CBO is enabled.

At the Ad Group level

  • Optimization location: Expanded options for Lead Generation (TikTok Direct Messages, Support website, instant form, Phone Calls) and Sales (App).

  • Optimization location – data connection: Available for certain Sales objectives.

  • Optimization event: Optimize for events such as Add to Cart, Purchase, View Content.

  • Deep funnel optimization: Advanced ranking for Lead Generation campaigns.

  • Ad Group budget type and amount: Updated requirements based on CBO settings.

  • Bid strategy and bid: Enhanced rules depending on budget type and campaign objective.

At the Ad level

  • Setup ad with catalog: Build ads using catalog data.

  • Identity Type Ex/Identity ID Ex: Match multiple creators' posts with correct IDs.

  • Ad format: Smart+ added as a supported option.

  • Video name: Support for bulk uploading multiple video creatives (up to 45,000 per campaign).

  • Smart+ creative auto-pull: Automatically pull top-performing creatives.

  • Post ID: Multiple post IDs supported for Smart+.

  • Music sharing: Control whether others can reuse your music.

  • Stitch and Duet: Toggle features for specific objectives.

  • TikTok Multilingual tool: Enable/disable multilingual support.

  • Selling points: Highlight unique selling points for your product.

  • Deferred deeplink: Indicate deferred deep link URLs.

  • AI-generated content field: Required declaration for creatives with AI content.
