About offline event sets

Offline Event Set is a container that helps you collect offline events for a particular product or business unit or business purpose. Creating an offline event set allows you to measure the impact of TikTok ads on offline activity from people that see or interact with your ads.


Get started with offline event sets

  • Ensure that the users of Events Manager have the correct roles and permissions to create an offline event set. Currently, an administrator or operator role is required in Events Manager to create an offline event set. Refer to Event Manager to know more about Event Manager roles

  • Create an offline event set in TikTok's Events Manager to measure offline activity from people who see or interact with your ads. In Ads Manager, navigate to Events under the Tools tab. In Events Manager, click Connect Data Sources, and select Offline to create an offline event set

  • If you are sending offline events through a third-party partner, provide your offline event set ID and copy over the access token under events manager that you have created. Partners will be able to configure the Offline API and send events to TikTok

  • Throughout your ad campaigns, we'll match the offline event data that you provide to the offline event set you create

  • When you create an offline event set, consider enabling the 'Auto-tracking on' toggle. As a result of enabling auto-tracking, all future campaigns from this ad account will use this offline event set for ad measurement and attribution
