An open collaboration allows you to make products in your shop available for TikTok creators to promote and share with their followers. Choose an open collaboration if you don't have a specific creator in mind and you want to allow creators to reach out to you about promoting your products. You can add a product to a Target Collaboration and an Open Collaboration at the same time. Review, manage and set up an open collaboration in the Open collaboration page in Affiliate Center.
You can set up an open collaboration for specific products, or all the products in your shop. We'll also recommend certain products for an open collaboration if they're in high demand. Remember to make sure you have enough products in stock before setting up a collaboration. For each product, you can choose to offer free samples or issue refunds when creators make their first sale.
If you only want approved creators to participate, you can require approval before they reach out to you. Go to the Added products tab of the Open collaboration page in Affiliate Center to review and manage all the products you've added to an open collaboration, as well as information about each creator who has posted content featuring your products.
You can set up a GMV Max campaign directly from the Open Collaboration page for any of your selected products.
Affiliate commissions in an open collaboration can be set for each individual product, for a group of selected products, or for all products. You can choose an affiliate commission between 1% and 80% of your GMV for each order, or automatically set an optimized commission rate based on the top performing 30% of products in your shop and in the product marketplace. You can see commission rates for your products in the Open collaboration page in Affiliate Center.
If your products are set up with both an open collaboration and a target collaboration, creators will only receive one commission rate per product. The target collaboration commission rate will always supersede the open collaboration commission rate, so it's recommended to set a higher commission rate for Target collaborations.
