Budget is the total amount of money you want to spend to run your ads. When you create an ad campaign or an ad group, you can choose how you want to pay for it by choosing your budget preferences. Your budget determines the overall cost for your campaigns and ad groups.
There are two types of budgets to choose from:
Lifetime budget: Choose the maximum amount you are willing to spend on a campaign or ad group during its entire run time.
Daily budget: Choose the maximum you are willing to spend on a campaign or ad group per day.
A minimum budget is required for both lifetime budgets and daily budgets in order to ensure the continuous delivery of your ad.
Campaign level minimum budget: Daily budgets and lifetime budgets must exceed 50 USD.
Ad group level minimum budget: For ad groups, daily budgets must exceed 20 USD. Lifetime budgets will be calculated as the minimum daily budget (20 USD) x scheduled days.
If delivery is scheduled for 31 days, the minimum budget for the ad group would be 20 USD x 31 days = 620 USD.
You can change your lifetime or daily budgets for an ad campaign or ad group. However, you cannot switch from a lifetime budget to a daily budget for an ad campaign or ad group.
