TikTok supports duplicating a campaign with multiple ad groups and ads. You can also duplicate ad groups and duplicate ads.
Before you duplicate an ad, we recommend getting familiar with the availability of this feature:
Available for Auction and Reach and Frequency ads.
Available for all auction objectives within advertising objectives except for Product Sales and sunset objectives, including app install, conversion, catalog sales, and shop purchase.
There are also limitations to the duplicate feature:
Drafted or deleted campaigns cannot be duplicated.
Livestreaming ad groups cannot be duplicated. If a campaign contains livestreaming ad groups, only non-livestreaming ad groups will be duplicated.
Campaigns with more than 20 ad groups cannot be duplicated.
Campaigns that contain ad groups created for split testing can be duplicated, but the duplicate campaign will be published as normal without any split test.
Note: When a campaign is duplicated, an auto-save draft is instantly created. This helps safeguard your progress and gives you flexibility to pause and return later without losing changes.
To duplicate a campaign:
Go to the Campaigns tab and find the campaign list.
Hover over the campaign you would like to duplicate and click Duplicate.
Edit the campaign and click Continue to ad groups.
Edit each ad group under the campaign and click Continue to ads.
Edit each ad under each ad group and click Publish.
Note: When duplicating a campaign, you can switch Campaign Budget Optimization (CBO) on or off at the campaign level without resetting ad group or ad-level settings. If you turn CBO on, ad group budgets are removed and you’ll need to set a campaign-level budget (all ad groups must share the same optimization location and bid strategy). If you turn CBO off, the campaign budget is removed and you’ll need to set ad group-level budgets.
