Account and asset permissions define how partners access and manage Business Center resources. These permissions enable Business Center admins to precisely control access to various accounts and assets including ad accounts, shops, pixels, catalogs, and more.
Only TikTok Business Center admins can assign account or asset level permissions.
To assign account or asset permissions to a partner in a Business Center:
Log in to your TikTok Business Center account.
From the left hand side menu, click Partners and choose the partner you want to share account or asset permissions with.
Your navigation will vary depending on your Business Center type and how your partners are organized:
Direct Business Center: Select the partner directly from the partner list.
Agency Business Center: The steps to find your partner depending on how your partners are organized:
If all your partners are organized by Company, click View details in the Action column for the relevant Company, then select the Direct Business Center.
If all your partners are not organized by Company, select the Direct Business Center from the Business Center list.
If you have a mix, your Partner page will have two tabs: Companies and Other accounts. Navigate to the correct tab to find and select the partner.
In the You've shared tab, choose the type of account or asset to share and click Share assets.
If you assign Admin or Operator access for an ad account to an agency partner as the agency's client, you need to confirm whether they are the primary media agency for the ad account by selecting Yes or No. If a Business Center-level media agency partnership is already established, this will default to Yes.
Click Assign.
Your partners will now be able to access and manage the assigned accounts and assets according to the permissions you have set. This allows for a secure and efficient workflow between you and your partners.
