Generic Catalog lets service-oriented and non-commerce advertisers upload and manage itemized offerings in Catalog Manager. After you create your catalog, you can use it in supported TikTok Ads Manager campaigns.
Make sure you have the correct Business Center permissions to create and manage catalogs.
If you plan to use website or app event sources, make sure your Catalog Manager item IDs match the corresponding content IDs used in your event setup.
Log in to TikTok Business Center.
In the left navigation bar, choose Catalogs under Assets.
Select Add catalog.
Choose Other products and services.
Fill in the required catalog information and create your catalog.
Open the catalog in Catalog Manager.
Add items to your catalog using one of the supported methods:
Manual upload
File upload
Data feed upload
Each item should represent a single offering, listing, or service you want to promote. Depending on your setup, you can include:
Mandatory information: Item name, image, and item ID.
Optional information: Description, video, landing page URL, price information, location availability information, custom labels.

After you upload your items, you can use the Products view to view, filter, edit, and manage your catalog items. You can also use Product Sets to organize items based on the content of your catalog.
Create a campaign in TikTok Ads Manager.
Select Lead Generation or Sales as your objective.
Turn on Use catalog.
Select your Generic Catalog.
Choose all items, a product set, or specific products.
Publish your ad.
