How to create Avatar videos with Symphony Creative Studio

Avatar videos is a feature in Symphony Creative Studio that provides access to a library of global avatars to deliver your video script. You can use the built-in editor to write the script you want the avatar to say and choose the voice from different backgrounds or appearances.


Before you begin

  • Log into Creative Studio with your TikTok for Business account. If you do not have an account, create your TikTok for Business account. Learn more about TikTok for Business accounts.

  • If it's your first time accessing Symphony Creative Studio, you'll need to:

    • Complete your profile.

    • Accept the Creative GenAI Terms.


How to create Avatar videos with Symphony Creative Studio

To create Avatar videos:

  1. Log into Symphony Creative Studio on your desktop.

  2. Select Avatar videos.

  3. Use filters to find an avatar appearance or style.

  4. Hover over an avatar, click Select avatar.

  5. After selecting an avatar, you'll be able to edit the following:

    • Script: Type a script, fix pronunciation, translate the script into a different language, and select a voice. After you make changes, click Generate voice and captions. Note: Lip-sync rendering will occur once the video is exported.

    • Assets: Choose assets from Your Library, Stock Library or URL Import to add to your video.

    • Music: Select from Recommended music, Trending music, or previously Saved music to add music to the video.

    • Stickers: Select stickers to add to the video or click Add text to add a text overlay.

    • Effects: Select an effect to add to the current point in the video.

    • Transitions: Select a transition to add to the current point in the video.

    • Click Show Timeline to:

      • Change caption font, font color and style.

      • Reposition items in the video.

      • Change the masking of the avatar.

      • Change the length of an asset, avatar, or music segment.

      • Change the opacity of an asset.

      • Change the volume of the music.

      • Preview the TikTok UI overlay.

  6. Once you're finished editing, click Export on the top-right corner. Note: An AI-generated label is added to all exported videos. Learn more about TikTok ad policy.

  7. Click Download or Ads Manager.

    • Note: If you export to TikTok Ads Manager, you'll need to select the account that is linked to your logged-in profile or search for a TikTok Ads Manager account ID.

  8. Click Save and sync.
