How to create your Travel Ads catalog
A key element that powers Travel Ads is catalogs. TikTok uses industry specific catalogs to create ads that are custom tailored for major travel use cases.
How to create your Catalog Ads for Travel catalog
Log in to TikTok Ads Manager.
At the top navigation bar, hover over Tools.
Click Catalogs under Management.
Click Product Catalog on the top navigation bar.
Click Create.
Fill in all of the required information, and then click Create. Make sure to select Flight, Hotel, or Destination (beta) as your industry.
To manage your catalogs, select the catalog you want from the list and choose Open in Catalog Manager.
There are 4 options for adding products to your new Travel Catalog: Manual, Data Feed Schedule, Upload File, and Import from Google.
Manual upload: Add products manually. All of the fields displayed upfront are mandatory fields, but you can also expand the page to add optional info. Learn more about available catalog fields for Travel Ads.
Data feed schedule (recommended for inventory feeds): Choose this option to upload a feed link and have it refresh on a schedule. In most cases, you'll choose New Product Source, unless you're updating an existing data feed schedule.
Upload file: Upload a CSV file of your feed. Make sure that it follows our template or it will be rejected.
Import from Google: Use the Google Merchant Center to import your product feeds.
After you've uploaded your products to your catalog, use the Products view to view, filter, and add more products. You can also use Product Sets to filter and separate products based on the content of your catalog.
