How to delete an Organization Account in the TikTok app
When you no longer need an Organization Account, you can permanently delete it through the TikTok app. This action is irreversible and will permanently remove your account and all associated content.
If you only need a temporary break from TikTok, consider deactivating your Organization Account instead.
Before you begin
Ensure you are an Admin of the Organization Account to perform this action.
Accounts linked to the TikTok for Gaming platform cannot be deleted.
Ensure all pending payments and transactions are settled. This includes but not limited to withdrawing any remaining balance, repaying outstanding bills and loans, and completing all pending orders.
How to delete an Organization Account in the TikTok app
To delete an Organization Account in the TikTok app:
Log in to the Organization Account in the TikTok app.
Tap Profile to go to your profile homepage.
Tap the three dashes icon in the upper right corner.
Tap Settings and privacy.
Tap Account.
Tap Deactivate or delete account.
Choose Delete account permanently.
Review the information about account deletion and tap Continue.
If prompted, follow the on-screen instructions to verify your identity.
On the final confirmation screen, tap Delete to finalize the request.
Your account is now scheduled for permanent deletion. It will first enter a deactivation period, during which you can cancel the deletion by logging back in and reactivating the account. After this period, the deletion is final.
