How to remove an ad account shared by a Business Center partner

Last updated: March 2026

Admins in Business Center can remove ad accounts shared by partners at any time. Ad accounts can be removed for reasons like the completion of a collaboration or a change in business needs.

Before you begin

  • Ensure you are an Admin for the current Business Center.

  • Ensure you have at least one ad account shared by a Business Center partner.

How to remove an ad account shared by a Business Center partner

  1. Log in to your TikTok Business Center account.

  2. On the left side menu, click Partners.

  3. Click the partner who shared the ad account with you.

Your navigation will vary depending on your Business Center type and how your partners are organized:

    • Direct Business Center: Select the partner directly from the partner list.

    • Agency Business Center: The steps to find your partner depending on how your partners are organized:

      • If all your partners are organized by Company, click View details in the Action column for the relevant Company, then select the Direct Business Center.

      • If all your partners are not organized by Company, select the Direct Business Center from the Business Center list.

      • If you have a mix, your Partner page will have two tabs: Companies and Other accounts. Navigate to the correct tab to find and select the partner.

  4. In the Shared with you tab, find the ad account you want to remove.

  5. Click the external link icon in the Actions column for the ad account to go to the ad account page.

  6. Click the ad account name to open the account details page.

  7. In the top right corner of the ad account details page, click Delete.

  8. Click Confirm.

Once an ad account shared by a partner is removed from the TikTok Business Center, all assets linked to it will be unlinked, and any media agency partnerships will also end.
