Google Sheets is a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) integration available for TikTok lead generation that provides a simple, spreadsheet-based solution for managing your leads. Learn more about the benefits of integrating a CRM with TikTok lead generation and the available integrations.
Before you integrate TikTok Lead Generation with Google Sheets, make sure that you:
Created at least one Instant Form on TikTok Ads Manager
Have a Google account with access to Google Drive
Have editor access to the specific Google Sheets you want to use for integration.
Have a TikTok Ads Manager account and admin access to that account.
Note: You don't have to have a live campaign to create an Instant Form.
The one-click CRM integration solution helps you to seamlessly set up CRM lead export and signal postback in a streamlined process.
Log in to TikTok Ads Manager.
Select the Tools tab.
Select Leads Center under Management.
Select Connect CRM.
Select Google Sheets.
Choose TikTok direct integration.
You can choose to set up both lead export and signal postback or just signal postback. If you only want to set up signal postback, you can skip steps 10 through 13.
Log in to your TikTok Ads Manager account and connect to your Google account.
Review and adjust the assets (direct messages and forms) you want by choosing Manually select.
Select + Choose a spreadsheet from your Google Drive to map data between CRMs and TikTok.
Select the Google Sheet you want to export leads to.
Select the Work Sheet you want to export leads info to.
Select the fields from the Work Sheets that you want to map to the Google Sheets fields.
Note: The fields under TikTok data are auto collected from the forms you selected above. The fields are auto-mapped by default. You can review and adjust before moving forwards.
There are 3 options to access the Google Sheets integration in TikTok Ads Manager:
Select the Tools tab, select Leads Center, and click Connect CRM.
Select the Campaign tab, go to the Ad section, and then click on Download Lead Data from the Download Leads column on the table.
Select the Tools tab, choose Instant Page under the Creative section, select Instant form, and click on Download Lead Data under the form.
Once you've accessed the integration options:
Search Google Sheets or find it in the list of CRM options.
Click TikTok direct integration.
Click Apply for Permission under your TikTok Account.
Select Sign into Google Sheets to be directed to the pop-up window for sign-in.
Click Next to continue.
Choose the TikTok instant form you want to connect to your Google Sheets.
Click Choose a spreadsheet from your Google Drive. You will be directed to a pop-up window to select the specific spreadsheet where you want to receive leads from TikTok.
Select the specific worksheet or tab within your Google Spreadsheet in the worksheet dropdown.
After selecting your Google Worksheet, the field mapping section will automatically appear below to match your worksheet headers with your TikTok instant form question fields.
Click Next.
When setting up your integration:
Map the corresponding fields from your TikTok Instant Forms data with the Google Sheets data using the dropdowns.
Click Next after all necessary data fields are mapped.
Click Yes, send test data to test your connection and preview how the actual lead will look.
Tips for field mapping:
Review and adjust the auto-mapped fields before moving forward.
Ensure all required fields are properly mapped.
Test the connection to verify data flows correctly.
Sending back events data to TikTok can help to yield higher-quality leads that are more likely to convert.
Make sure you have admin credentials for your Google Sheets and admin access to your TikTok Ads Manager account

Log in to TikTok Ads Manager.
Hover over Tools, then select Events Manager.
Click on Connect data source.
Select CRM as the data source
Create a name for the CRM event.
Once the event set is created successfully, you will be redirected to the Overview tab. Click on Complete setup.
Select Automatic setup with partner platform.
Click on Next.
On the screen, you see a list of CRMs. Search for and select Google Sheets.
Select Google Sheets as your integration platform.
Click on Connect Google Sheets account.
Log in to your Google account.
Select a Google account.
Enter a name to identify the workflow.
Select the user account for your Google Sheets or create a new one.
Select your TikTok Ad account from the dropdown.
Click on Next.
Select a trigger event from Google Sheets. Note: Select an event that can capture changes to the status of the lead as it goes through the sales funnel.
Map the fields between TikTok data and your Google Sheets data accordingly. Note: Lead Status is required. At least one of Lead Id, Email, Phone or Click Id is required.
You can map all CRM events, including both Standard and Custom Events, to 4 defined funnel stages in TikTok Events Manager.
In TikTok Ads Manager, hover over the Tools tab and select Events Manager.
Click on Data sources in the left navigation.
Click the CRM event set that you just created.
Observe if the data has flowed into attributed events. It might take 10 minutes for data to sync. If the matched events number is greater than 0, then the postback data has started to come into TikTok, and the configuration is complete
