Max delivery optimization
Max delivery is an optimization mode that uses additional budget to boost sales and ad delivery for your LIVE GMV Max campaign for a selected period of time.
You'll need to have a running LIVE GMV Max campaign
You can only use one optimization mode at a time for your LIVE GMV Max campaign
Max delivery will use an independent budget that sellers set specifically for this optimization mode. During Max delivery schedule, the system will only spend Max delivery budget and your Target ROI budget will not be consumed.
If sellers set a 'start time + daily duration', the independent budget will be spent during that duration each day.
If sellers set a 'start time + end time', the independent budget will be spent from start time to end time each day.
You can turn on Max delivery optimization for a LIVE GMV Max campaign in Seller Center or TikTok Ads Manager.
To turn on Max delivery for your LIVE GMV ax campaign:
Go to Seller Center
Click Shop Ads in the left-hand menu. Note: If you are in the U.S., click Marketing in the left-hand menu first.
Go to Campaign list and click LIVE GMV Max.
Find your LIVE GMV Max campaign in the campaign list.
Go to the Optimization Mode column and click Target ROI.
Choose Max delivery in the dropdown.
Enter a daily budget you want to spend. This amount will be used in addition to your regular campaign budget while Max delivery is active. Note: The minimum daily budget is $10 USD.
Choose how you want to schedule your Max delivery. You can choose Set start time and daily duration (Option 1) or Set start and end time (Option 2). Note: You won't be able to change between Option 1 and Option 2 after this setting is confirmed.
Set start time and daily duration: Set a start date and pace your Max delivery spending with the amount of time the TikTok account goes live each day. Max delivery will be effective each day during the duration seller chose. If Max delivery schedule reaches the end time, the optimization mode will automatically revert to Target ROI.
Set start and end time: Manually choose the time your Max delivery begins and ends. Your end time should be at least 2 hours after your start time to ensure your full budget is spent. Max delivery will be effective each day, until Max delivery schedule reaches the end time, the optimization mode will automatically revert to Target ROI.
When you're finished, click Confirm.
To turn on Max delivery for your LIVE GMV Max campaign:
Log in to TikTok Ads Manager.
Click GMV Max at the top of your dashboard.
Go to Campaign list and click LIVE GMV Max.
Choose a running LIVE GMV Max campaign you want to edit.
In the Optimization Mode column, click Target ROI and choose Max delivery.

When you're finished, click Confirm.
Your LIVE GMV Max optimization mode will be changed to Max delivery for the duration you chose. Max delivery optimization mode will only take effect when your liveroom is active. If your Max delivery schedule ends, the opimization mode will automatically revert to Target ROI until the end of your campaign.
You can view reporting for Max delivery along with overall reporting for your GMV Max campaigns in Seller Center or in the GMV Max tab in TikTok Ads Manager. To view metrics for both Target ROI and Max delivery, make sure to choose a reporting date range that includes your Max delivery schedule. You can view Target ROI and Max delivery mode metrics and daily trends for your LIVE GMV Max campaign and for specific Liveroom events.
