Once relevant videos have been reviewed in Content Suite, advertisers can create and launch Spark Ads through a process of authorization, syncing, and launching.
Request Spark Authorization
In Content Suite, go to the Request authorization tab.
Click on the Request authorization button on any video in the list or in the detailed video view to send an in-platform note to the creator via TikTok.
You can send a custom invitation message or select Use template to use a pre-made invite message.
Once the message is selected or complete, click "Confirm" to send the message to the creator via TikTok.
All Spark authorization requests are defaulted to 365 days for authorization period.
Review Spark Ads authorized videos
Go to the Authorized for Spark Ads tab.
See all videos that have been granted Spark authorization and have codes ready to share and use. You may filter by authorization method with the options below:
Video Request: Video authorization was requested in Content Suite.
Account Authorization: Creator accepted an account-level authorization from Content Suite.
Off-Platform Authorization: The creator tagged your brand in a partnership, or authorization was provided manually between the creator and your brand.
Sync Spark Ads authorized videos to TikTok Ads Manager
There are two ways users can sync authorized videos in Content Suite:
Manual sync: In the Authorized for Spark Ads video list, click on the three dots next to the desired video and click Sync.
Auto-Sync: In Content Suite within TikTok Ads Manager, authorized videos will automatically sync to the Spark Ads posts section in Creative Library of TikTok Ads Manager (see the launch steps below for how to find creatives sourced from Content Suite). Note: Auto-sync is not on by default for videos authorized in Content Suite within TikTok One.
Clients can click on Sync All to edit or change auto-sync settings.
Alternatively, instead of syncing videos, you can look for the Spark Ads authorization code for a video and copy the code into the selection of creatives added during ad creation (see below for launch steps where videos are selected for Spark Ads in TikTok Ads Manager). You can find the Spark Ad code either in:
An export of the video data: Select videos in the Authorized for Spark Ads video list and click Export at the top right to get video data, including the Spark Ads code, emailed to you as a CSV file.
A video's Copy code option: In the Authorized for Spark Ads video list, click on the three dots next to the desired video and click Copy code to copy that video's Spark Ads code.
