How to use the Promotions page in TikTok Ads Manager

The Promotions page in TikTok Ads Manager lets you manage your ad credits. From the Promotions page, you can:

• Understand what ad credits are available on your accounts.

• Manage ad credit assignment.

• Track ad credit usage.

How to use the Promotions page in TikTok Ads Manager

To access the Promotions page:

1. Log in to TikTok Ads Manager.

2. Select Tools.

3. Select Payments under Settings.

4. Click on the Promotions tab.

5. You can view the total credit value and the free credit, assignable credit, and conditional credit values:

   1. Free credit: A type of promotional credit that auto-applies to any advertising campaign without any action required.

   2. Assignable credit: A type of promotional credit that must be manually assigned to an advertising campaign before use.

   3. Conditional credit: A type of promotional credit that only applies to advertising campaigns when specific conditions have been met (for example: spend thresholds, targeting rules, or cash balance requirements). Refer to the individual credit for more details on conditions.

6. The Available tab in the Status table contains the following information:

   • Ad credit name: The name of the ad credit available.

   • Credit type: The type of credit: Free, Assignable, or Conditional.

   • Discount / Amount: The nominal value of the free credit or discount coupon.

   • Usage requirements: Provides details about which restrictions apply to the ad credit (for example, campaigns, products, or countries).

   • Redeemed date: The date the ad credit was redeemed or became available to use.

   • Valid dates: How long the ad credit will be available for you to use before it expires.

   • Unused amount: The remaining amount to be used.

   • Used amount: The amount already used.

   • Percent spent: Shows how much of a particular ad credit has been spent.

   • Actions: Provides actions that you can take for ad credits assignable to campaigns:

     • View/Assign: Choose this option to assign or unassign ad credits to campaigns and to view which products and countries ad credits are restricted to. Note: You must have admin permission to TikTok Ads Manager to assign and unassign ad credits to campaigns.

     • Assignment log: Choose this option to review the assignment history of an ad credit.

     • No restrictions will appear if there are no restrictions.

7. The Earning tab shows your current spend and credits earned for your activated ad credits.

8. The Not available tab shows any ad credits that have expired or been used up.
