Anyone who has a personal TikTok account can create a TikTok Business Account.
To upgrade your account
On Mobile
Open the TikTok app and log in to your account.
Tap Profile to go to your profile homepage.
On the top right corner, tap the hamburger menu icon to open your Settings and privacy page.
Tap Account.
Under the Account control options, tap Switch to Business Account.
Select a category that best describes your account, then tap Next, and this will complete the process.
On Web/Desktop
Go to www.tiktok.com and log in to your account.
On the top right corner, hover over your profile icon.
Go to Settings.
Toggle ON Business Account at the bottom of the page.
Select a category that best describes your account, then tap Next, and this will complete the process.
Once you've switched to a Business Account, you will get access to a variety of exclusive features, including the ability to add your business contact information and website.
Switching back to a Personal Account
If you need to switch back to a personal account, follow the same steps above and tap Switch to Personal Account instead.
Please note:
If you switch your account type back to a personal account, you will lose access to all Business Account features. Your account will also no longer show business-specific profile features, including your link-in-bio, app download link, email, address, and phone number.
You will still retain any past analytics from your account, but will lose access to business analytics metrics, such as number of clicks on your link-in-bio.
You will still be responsible for any violations you received on your Business Account
In addition to the changes above, if you switch your account type when you are Verified, you will lose your verification badge and all verified Business Account features.
