How to set up Lead Generation from Business Account

This article shows steps to set up a lead generation, lead generation video anchor, and lead generation live anchor.

Steps to set up Lead Generation for the first time

Go to Profile, click … in the top right, and click Business Suite.
Select Get leads.
Check the option for agreement of Terms and click Start getting leads to go to the Lead Generation Form creation page.

You'll create the content of your form containing a call to action, business introduction, and questions for potential customers.

Go to your Profile and click ... in the top right corner. Then click Business Suite.
Click Get leads.
Choose your preferred goal (call to action), which will appear on your profile.
Complete the remaining lead form details below.
- Introduction - Write a description of your business (200 character limit).
- What do you want your form to ask - Choose from the following information that you want to request from potential customers
  - Introduction (inquiry details)
  - Name
  - Phone number
  - Email
  - Country and city
Click Preview to see how your form will appear.
Once you have finalized your form options choices, click Next.

You'll enter your Privacy Policy, which will disclose how their information will be used.

Enter your business's Privacy Policy. Choose one of the following:
- Manually add your Privacy Policy: Copy and paste your Privacy Policy into the text field.
- Upload by URL: Enter the URL of where your Privacy Policy is displayed for customers.
  - Note: Your Lead Generation form will be rejected if the link is invalid, or does not properly display your Privacy Policy.
- For more information on how to prepare your own Privacy Policy, please see our FAQs located in the dropdown menu.
Once you have uploaded your Privacy Policy, click Next.

You'll review your form details.

Review all of the information that you've chosen to display on your form.
Click Preview to see how your form will appear.
If you are satisfied with your choices, click Submit to send your Lead Generation form for review.

You'll see the review status of your submitted Lead Generation form.

After submitting your Lead Generation form for review, it will appear as "Pending".
- Note: Lead Generation form review can take up to 24 hours during standard operating hours.
If your form is Approved:
- Your moderation results will be delivered to your inbox.
- "Get leads" will automatically toggle on.
  - If you wish to edit your call to action or form information, you must toggle off.
- Your "Call to action" button will appear on your profile page.
- You're eligible to add a "Get leads" link or video anchor to your video.
If your form is Rejected:
- Your moderation results will be delivered to your inbox.
- The reasons for your form rejection will be listed under the "Not approved" status.
- You can edit your form details to send for resubmission.
  - Click the pencil icon to edit each form detail.
  - Enter your business's Privacy Policy.
- Click Preview to see how your form will appear.
- Once you have edited your form choices or Privacy Policy, click Next.

There are 5 steps required to create a Lead Generation Video Anchor.

Open your TikTok mobile app and click the + icon.
Click the + icon next to "Add Link".
Click Get leads.
- If it isn't visible, input "Get leads" in the Search field to add it. Then click Get leads.
  - If "Get leads" doesn't appear in Search, you'll be redirected to our FAQ page.
Choose your remaining settings, then click Post.
You're set up to start getting leads. Your video will appear on the feed of potential customers with the Lead Generation anchor.

There are 4 steps required to create a Lead Generation Live Anchor. You must have created a Lead Generation form.

On the "Get leads" screen in the TikTok mobile app, ensure that Get leads is toggled on.
Click Get leads on the "LIVE Setting" page.
Click the Add button.
Your Lead Generation anchor will appear on the screens of Go LIVE! viewers.
