Ad credit is a form of credit which you may use on TikTok to pay for your advertising on the platform. If qualified, you may receive ad credits from your TikTok sales representative or find ad credits offers within TikTok Ads Manager. Ad credit policies are dictated by Advertising Credit terms and Conditions.
Ad credits can be in various stages of use and assignment. You can find your list of ad credits in the Promotions page in TikTok Ads Manager.
To access the Promotions page:
Log in to TikTok Ads Manager.
Select Tools.
Select Billing under Settings.
Click on the Promotions tab.
You can view the total ad credit value and the free ad credit, assignable ad credit, and conditional ad credit values:
Free ad credit: A type of promotional ad credit that auto-applies to any advertising campaign without any action required.
Assignable ad credit: A type of promotional ad credit that must be manually assigned to an advertising campaign before use.
Conditional ad credit: A type of promotional ad credit that only applies to advertising campaigns when specific conditions have been met (for example: spend thresholds, targeting rules, or cash balance requirements). Refer to the individual ad credit for more details on conditions. Be sure to review any usage requirements and expiration dates on your ad credits.
The Available tab in the Status table contains the following information:
Ad credit name: The name of the ad credit available.
Ad credit type: The type of ad credit: Free, Assignable, or Conditional.
Discount / Amount: The nominal value of the ad credit.
Usage requirements: Provides details about which restrictions apply to the ad credit (for example, campaigns, products, or countries).
Redeemed date: The date the ad credit was redeemed or became available to use.
Valid dates: How long the ad credit will be available for you to use before it expires.
Unused amount: The remaining amount to be used.
Used amount: The amount already used.
Percent spent: Shows how much of a particular ad credit has been spent.
Actions: Provides actions that you can take for ad credits assignable to campaigns:
View Details: Choose this option to assign or unassign ad credits to campaigns and to view which products and countries ad credits are restricted to. Note: You must have admin permission to TikTok Ads Manager to assign and unassign ad credits to campaigns.
Assignment log: Choose this option to review the assignment history of an ad credit.
No restrictions will appear if there are no restrictions.
The Earning tab displays the programs in which you are currently participating.
The Not available tab shows any ad credits that have expired or been used up.

You can check what kind of ad credits you have from the Promotions tab in TikTok Ads Manager. The Restrictions column in the Status table will indicate if your ad credits must be assigned to a campaign.
