Branded Mission is a TikTok ad solution that enables you to crowdsource content from communities on TikTok and then turn the top-performing creator videos into ads. This unique type of campaign sources user-generated content from the creator community to amplify your brand message.
A Branded Mission launches with a call to action for creators. Then, eligible creators can find and evaluate the Branded Mission Page to decide whether to participate and how.
Creators can find the Branded Mission Page through the following entry points:
On a Branded Hashtag and/or Branded Effects page, if using the Branded Hashtag or Branded Effects add-on
On the Discover page within TikTok Creator Marketplace
In a creator's inbox via notification
From a shared link to the Branded Mission
From the Branded Mission page, creators generate videos (also known as user-generated content or UGC) for the Branded Mission campaign.
You can see and manage UGC videos for the Branded Mission campaigns and select top-performing videos to boost as ads (also known as user-generated ads or UGA) for users to see in the For You feed.
When the Branded Mission campaign concludes, the selected TikTok creators get paid for their participation and paid video views according to creator payout terms and Branded Mission terms set in the Branded Mission brief.

Creators must satisfy the following requirements to be eligible for joining a Branded Mission:
Age: at least 18 years old in all regions except:
Korea: at least 19 years old
Japan: at least 20 years old
Thailand: at least 20 years old
Indonesia: at least 21 years old
Account:
At least 1,000 followers
Not a Business Account (learn more about the different TikTok account types)
In good standing with TikTok Community Guidelines for the past 30 days (including video posting and commenting)
Post activity:
Posted at least 3 videos in the last 30 days
Have at least 1,000 video views in the last 30 days
Anti-fraud:
Must have authentic video views and fan base
Must register your account, and be located in the country where the Branded Mission is launched
