How to create a Business Center from an Enterprise Business Center

You can set up a multi-tier structure for your Enterprise Business Center by creating Standard or Enterprise Business Centers.

The type of Business Center you can create depends on your Enterprise Business Center type:

• From Enterprise Business Centers with finance, you can create new Standard Business Centers linked to the same legal identity, or a parent Enterprise Business Center without finance.

• From Enterprise Business Centers without finance, you can only create a parent Enterprise Business Center without finance.

Before you begin

• Ensure you have set up an Enterprise Business Center.

• If you want to create a parent Enterprise Business Center without finance, ensure your current Enterprise Business Center meets the following requirements:

  • The Enterprise Business Center doesn't have a parent Business Center.

  • The multi-tier structure for the Enterprise Business Center has fewer than 5 tiers. Learn how to view the tiering structure of your Enterprise Business Center.

How to create a Standard Business Center from an Enterprise Business Center with finance

To create a Standard Business Center from an Enterprise Business Center with finance:

1. Log in to your Enterprise Business Center.

2. From the left-hand side menu, click Organization.

3. Click Add a Business Center.

4. In the Tiered account structure section, click Create new.

5. Enter the Business Center name and select Time zone and Currency for the new Standard Business Center.

6. Click Create. You will automatically become an Admin for the new Business Center.

Note: The new Standard Business Center will automatically reuse the legal entity details and verification associated with your Enterprise Business Center with finance.

How to create an Enterprise Business Center without finance from an Enterprise Business Center with finance

To create a parent Enterprise Business Center without finance from an Enterprise Business Center with finance:

1. Log in to your Enterprise Business Center.

2. From the left-hand side menu, click Organization.

3. Click Add a Business Center.

4. In the Enterprise Business Center section, click Create new.

5. Enter the Business Center name and select Time zone for the new Enterprise Business Center without finance.

6. Click Next.

7. Click Create. The new parent Enterprise Business Center without finance will now link to the current Enterprise Business Center under it.

How to create an Enterprise Business Center without finance from an Enterprise Business Center without finance

To create a parent Enterprise Business Center without finance from an Enterprise Business Center without finance:

1. Log in to your Enterprise Business Center.

2. From the left-hand side menu, click Organization.

3. Click Add a Business Center.

4. In the Enterprise Business Center section, click Create new.

5. Enter the Business Center name and select Time zone for the new Enterprise Business Center without finance.

6. Click Next.

7. Click Create. The new parent Enterprise Business Center without finance will link to the current Enterprise Business Center under it.

You have now set up a multi-tier structure by creating a Business Center from an Enterprise Business Center. This set up will help manage the whole business neatly and efficiently.
