The TikTok One Gaming anchor allows you to add a clickable link within creator videos for users to learn more and ultimately download the game. By providing creators with links to be added to their videos, viewers will be sent to a landing page then to the iOS or Android app store to download the game.
With the Gaming anchor, you can drive downloads and build brand visibility through creator marketing campaigns.
To set up the Gaming anchor:
Log into your TikTok One account.
Under Assets, click Anchor.
Click Create anchor.
Click Gaming anchor.
Click Next.
Select the anchor country.
Note: The anchor will only be visible to viewers in the selected country and audiences in other regions will not be able to see this anchor. To complete a campaign in multiple countries, you will need multiple anchors.
Enter the iOS, Deeplink, App Store, Google Play Store download link so that the relevant app information will automatically sync from the App Store.
Note: Deep links are a set of link services that allow users to click on links to navigate to specific deep pages within an app.
Click Next.
Enter the anchor name. Note: This will only be shown in the Anchors list tab and will not be shown to the public.
Select your Tracking method. You'll be able to edit the following:
Tracking links: Add links or tokens for detailed tracking and remarketing.
Impression tracking: Allows you to measure a viewer’s behavior and attribute app installs to anchor impressions.
Click tracking: Allows you to measure a audience’s behavior and attribute app installs to anchor clicks.
Re-marketing: Allows you to track viewers who return to your app via the anchor and attribute it to anchor impressions or clicks. Note: This specifically refers to downloading and opening the app with an Internet connection.
View the Anchor display and landing page information. Note: This is populated from your App Store description and cannot be edited.
View or edit the App introduction.
Add Background image.
View or edit Introductory images. The orientation will be aligned with that in the App Store or Google Play Store. Note: To change the orientation, you must re-upload the images. All images and video will have the same aspect ratio.
Size: Less than 2MB.
Format: JPG, PNG, GIF.
Ratio: Horizontal ratio of 375px (width) and 210px (height); or a vertical ratio of 210px (width) and 375px (height)
Upload one Introductory video.
Size: Less than 100MB.
Format: MP4, MOV.
Add Gaming events. You can add up to 5 events to show on your anchor landing page.
Under Video list, you can toggle on Display videos. This will allow you to showcase other videos using the same anchor on your anchor landing page.
Note: A maximum of 18 videos can be listed and they will be displayed in the order they were posted.
Preview your anchor and landing page on the right side.
Click Confirm.
After submitting your anchor, your anchor submission request will be reviewed by our moderation team. It usually takes up to 24 hours for the submission request to be approved. If your anchor is rejected, you can edit the anchor and resubmit it to moderation team for review.
You can view the status of all your anchors by navigating to Assets and clicking Anchor.
If you need to make anchors in multiple countries, click copy to quickly duplicate them or click edit to change the anchor region. Each copied anchor will require individual moderation reviews.
