How to create a TikTok Shop anchor
The TikTok Shop anchor allows merchants to easily feature their TikTok Shop products in TikTok One creator videos. By clicking a product deep link, users are guided to the product details page directly from the branded video.
Note: TikTok Shop Anchor is only available for advertisers with a TikTok Shop in the United States.
Before you begin
Open a TikTok Shop account and upload at least one product in your shop.
Complete setup of an affiliate marketing plan for your products. Learn more about setting up your TikTok Shop account or affiliate marketing plan.
How to create a TikTok Shop anchor
To create a TikTok Shop anchor:
Log into your TikTok Shop account.
Under Assets, click Anchor.
Click Create anchor.
Select TikTok Shop anchor.
Click Next.
Select the country where your TikTok Shop is located.
Enter the link to your TikTok shop URL for the product you are promoting.
Note: To find your product URL, go to the Seller Center and click on Products. Under the Manage Products tab, click on the eye icon next to each product. In the Product Preview tab, click Copy URL.
Click Next.
Complete anchor details. You'll be able to edit the following:
Title: Give your anchors a name that will tell viewers what you're promoting.
Anchor name: Only appears in anchor management and will not be visible to the public.
Thumbnail: Add a picture to be shown only on your anchor management page.
Size: Less than 2MB.
Format: JPG, PNG, GIF.
Ratio: 210px width and 375px height.
Add page link: The link that will bring users to the product detail page. Note: To add your product URL, replace the ProductID with your product's ID from TikTok Shop.
Preview your anchor and landing page on the right side.
Click Confirm.
After submitting your anchor, your anchor submission request will be reviewed by our moderation team. It usually takes up to 24 hours for the submission request to be approved. If your anchor is rejected, you can edit the anchor and resubmit it to moderation team for review.
You can view the status of all your anchors by navigating to Assets and clicking Anchor.
If you need to make anchors in multiple countries, click copy to quickly duplicate them or click edit to change the anchor region. Each copied anchor will require individual moderation reviews.
