You can track app activities, such as installs and in-app purchases, for non-app promotion campaigns in TikTok Ads Manager. For example, if your web conversion or traffic campaign directs users to a web landing page, you can still measure app installs and related in-app events.
Make sure you've integrated your app to TikTok Ads Manager using one of the data connection methods: Mobile Measurement Partner, App Events SDK, or App Events API.
You can only select one app (either Android or iOS) per ad. If your ad targets both operating systems simultaneously some data may be lost
Certain ad formats, such as TopView, do not support measuring app activity.
Log in to TikTok Ads Manager.
Click the Campaign tab.
Select the non-app promotion campaign where you want to enable app event tracking.
Go to Ads, then click Edit Ad.
Go to the Tracking section, then select your app next to App events.
6. Click Save. Repeat these steps for all the relevant ads in your campaign.
