How to set up a target collaboration in Seller Center

A target collaboration allows you to invite certain creators to promote specific products on your behalf for an affiliate commission.

About fee structures for target collaborations

You can choose a flat fee structure or a commission-based fee structure for your collaboration:

• Flat fee: You make a flat payment to TikTok Shop. TikTok Shop will pay the creators after their videos are approved by you or the platform, depending on the video review settings. Creators need to accept your invitation and submit videos in an agreed timeframe for review. Submitted videos are authorized to be used in ads if you request it. Only available for video format.

• Commission-only: Pay commissions to creators only when a sale is made. Creators don't need to have their videos reviewed and aren't limited to certain formats.

How to set up a target collaboration in Seller Center

When your payment to TikTok Shop is complete, you'll receive a confirmation that your invitation was sent. You can send a message to the creators you invited, or copy the invite link to share directly. When the invitation is accepted, your target collaboration will begin on the date you chose. You can view and manage creators and collaborations in the Target collaboration page in Affiliate Center.

If a creator didn't accept your invitation, or the invitation is canceled, you can apply your flat fee to other collaborations or request a refund in the Flat fee payments menu in Affiliate Center.
