We understand that a rejection can be frustrating. To help you succeed on your next attempt, this guide provides a list of common reasons why submissions are rejected and suggestions to ensure your application is successful.

Note: The most common issue is submitting the wrong type of document. Save time by first reviewing the official lists of acceptable documents for business verification and individual identity verification.

Ineligible submission

Age restriction

The provided ID indicates that you are under the minimum legal age required to operate an advertising account.

Only apply for verification if you meet all legal age and eligibility criteria for your region. Submissions that do not meet these requirements cannot be accepted. Legal-required age might be different in different markets. You may assume the minimum age is 18 unless local laws specify a different requirement.

Batched submission

Frequent submission

• Multiple unrelated documents were combined and uploaded as a single file, which makes the verification process unclear.

• Two or more identical documents have been submitted for the same verification requirement.

Upload only one document per submission. The document should directly correspond to the specific verification requirement you are fulfilling.

Duplicate submission

Duplicated submission

The same document is already associated with another account.

Use a document that is unique to your business and account. Avoid submitting the same document repeatedly for a single verification or across multiple accounts.
